What Mobile IV Therapy Actually Is

An IV puts fluids, electrolytes, and vitamins straight into your bloodstream. Because it skips your stomach, your body does not have to break anything down first. That is the whole reason people reach for it when drinking water is not working or is not possible.

Mobile means the nurse travels to you instead of the other way around. There is no Rapid Relief clinic to visit. Your nurse arrives with everything she needs, including the IV pole, sets up wherever you are comfortable, runs the drip, and packs all of it out when she leaves. Nothing goes in your trash.

For most people, the appeal is simple. When you feel bad enough to want an IV, you usually do not feel well enough to drive across the metroplex and sit in a lobby. Staying on your own couch is the point.

Why People Across DFW Book Us

These are the situations we get called for most.

Stomach bugs and illness icon

Stomach bugs and illness

When you cannot keep fluids down, drinking more is not the answer. An IV goes around your stomach entirely. This is our single most common call, and it picks up hard whenever something is moving through a school or an office.

Texas heat icon

Texas heat

From June into September, a long day outside will put most people well behind on fluids by evening. Ball games, yard work, lake days, festivals, and job sites all land in this category.

The morning after icon

Late nights out, wedding weekends, and bachelor or bachelorette parties. Fluids, electrolytes, vitamins, and optional anti-nausea or anti-pain add-ons may help you feel more like yourself sooner.

Travel days icon

Travel days

Between DFW International and Dallas Love Field, this area sees a lot of arrivals. Long flights, dry cabin air, time zone changes, and airport food add up. We come to the hotel room between meetings.

Cold and flu season icon

Hydration paired with vitamin C, B vitamins, and immune support is the usual winter request, especially for people who cannot afford to lose a week.

Runners, lifters, fighters, and weekend athletes use recovery drips to close out heavy training weeks.

Not Sure What To Book?

Most people start in one of these four places.

You are dehydrated and that is it icon

You are dehydrated and that is it

Relief Essentials at $125 is straight saline. After a long day in the heat or a hard workout, this is often all that is needed. Add electrolytes or magnesium for $25 each if you were sweating heavily.

You feel run down across the board

Relief Support at $195 is our Myers Cocktail and it is the most common first booking on the menu. Vitamin C, B-Complex, B12, magnesium, and Tri-Immune Boost alongside the fluids. Relief Works at $295 is the fuller version and adds glutathione.

How It Works

Book icon

1. Book

Call or text (469) 218-5260, or book online. Pick a time window and give us the address, along with a gate code or building access details if we will need them.

Health review icon

2. Health review

Before your visit, a provider reviews your health history and confirms the drip you chose is appropriate for you. If something looks off, we tell you before anyone is on the way. This step is not a formality and it is not skipped.

The morning after icon

3. Your nurse arrives

Your nurse texts when they are close, brings everything they need, and sets up wherever you are comfortable. A couch works better than a kitchen chair. Setup takes about five minutes.

Sit back icon

4. Sit back

Most drips run 30 to 45 minutes. Your nurse stays with you the whole time and checks the line as it runs. You can work, watch something, or sleep. When the bag is done, they pull the line, bandage the site, and take the whole setup with them.

Who Places Your IV

Every drip is placed by a licensed registered nurse. Not a technician and not an assistant.

Our nurses come out of ICU, emergency, oncology, cardiac, surgical, hospice, and home infusion settings. Several have well over a decade of hands-on IV experience, and many still work shifts in hospitals, fire stations, and clinics between mobile visits. That background is the reason difficult veins are routine here rather than a problem.

Rapid Relief Mobile IV was started by Wes, who spent nearly ten years as a firefighter and paramedic, along with his father John. Wes had already seen what IV therapy could do in the field. Then it became personal. After his wife Amanda went through a miscarriage, she was diagnosed with a common condition that affects how the body processes certain vitamins, and Wes began supporting her at home with weekly infusions alongside her supplements. What started as care for his own family became this company. Not long after, they welcomed their son Ryker.

It is still a father and son business, and it still runs one household at a time.

Group And Event IV Therapy

We bring nurses to wedding parties, bachelor and bachelorette weekends, corporate offices, race weekends, film sets, ranch weekends, and private events across the metroplex. One nurse can treat several people at one address in a single visit, and we send more than one for larger groups.

Group Size Discount
3 to 10 people 10% off
11 to 15 people 15% off
16 or more people 20% off

Military and first responders get 10 percent off any visit, any day. Given how this company started, that one is not a promotion.

Fees, Payment, And Cancellations

Everything is listed here so there are no surprises at the door.

  • After hours. Appointments after 7:00 PM carry a $100 fee, seven days a week, and depend on nurse availability.
  • Out of area. If your address falls outside our service limit, there is a $100 travel fee. Text us the address first and we will confirm either way.
  • Cancellations. Cancel at least 2 hours before your appointment at no charge. Inside 2 hours there is a $25 fee.
  • Card processing. A 3 percent service fee applies to card transactions.

We accept FSA, HSA, credit, debit, Zelle, Cash App, and Venmo.

What We Will Not Tell You

There is a lot of overselling in this industry, so here is where we draw the line. IV therapy is a wellness service. It may help you feel better and it may help you recover faster, and for a lot of people it does. It is not a treatment for any disease, it is not a substitute for seeing your doctor, and it is not a replacement for emergency care. If you are having a medical emergency, call 911.

We also will not guess at a result for you in advance. What we will do is review your history before the visit, tell you honestly if a drip is not the right call that day, and send a licensed nurse who knows what she is doing.

Is IV Therapy Right For You?

For most healthy adults, a hydration or vitamin drip is a low risk way to get fluids and nutrients quickly. That said, it is not right for everybody, and the honest answer depends on your history rather than on what you booked. Check with your doctor first if you have kidney disease, heart failure, or any condition where fluid balance is managed closely. The same goes if you are pregnant, if you take medication that interacts with high dose vitamins, or if you have had a reaction to an IV before.

Tell us anything relevant during the health review. A provider looks at it before your visit, and your nurse will go over it again when she arrives. If a drip is not the right call that day, we will say so and you will not be charged for a visit that should not happen.

Why People Keep Calling Us Back

There is no shortage of mobile IV services in this area, so here is what actually separates one from another.

  • Registered nurses only, with real hospital and field backgrounds behind them
  • Full pricing published up front, including every fee, so the invoice matches what you expected
  • A health review before the visit rather than a form you sign at the door
  • Seven days a week, 7 AM to 7 PM, with same day windows that are usually real
  • A father and son business, not a franchise, and the owner still runs visits himself

If the drip you picked is not the one you need, we would rather tell you than take the larger order. That has cost us money and it is why people call back.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How much does mobile IV therapy cost in DFW?

Drips run from $125 to $399 depending on what is in the bag. Relief Essentials at $125 is straight hydration and Relief Support at $195 is our most booked option. Add-ons start at $25.

  • How long does a visit take?

Most run 30 to 45 minutes total. Setup is about five minutes and your nurse stays for the whole drip.

  • Can you come today?

Often, yes. Text 972-347-0168 for the next real window. Text reaches us faster than email.

  • Do you come to hotels?

Yes, constantly. Airport corridor hotels are one of our most frequent settings. You do not need to clear it with the front desk.

  • Who actually shows up?

A licensed registered nurse. She will text when she is close and she comes in normal clothes with a bag, not a marked vehicle.

  • What if my veins are hard to find?

Tell your nurse when she arrives. Most of our team spent years in ICU, emergency, or surgical settings, and difficult access is part of the job for them.

  • Is there a membership?

No. There is no membership, no monthly plan, and no signup fee. You pay for the visit you book.

  • Do you treat children?

Call us before booking so we can go over it directly. Any visit involving a minor requires a parent or guardian present and consent.

  • Do you charge extra to drive out to me?

Not inside our service area. Past the service limit there is a $100 travel fee, and we tell you before you book.

  • Will an IV fix a hangover?

It will not undo a night, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling. Fluids, electrolytes, vitamins, and optional anti-nausea or anti-pain support may help you feel better while your body catches up.

  • Do I need to do anything to get ready?

Drink some water and eat something light if you can. It makes the vein easier to find and the visit more comfortable. Otherwise, nothing.

  • What if I need to reschedule?

Text us. As long as it is more than 2 hours out there is no charge.
