About Rapid Relief Mobile IV
Rapid Relief Mobile IV started because of one family, not one business plan.
Wes spent nearly ten years as a firefighter and paramedic. In that work you see what fluids and medication can do for somebody who is in real trouble, and you see it up close, in living rooms and on roadsides rather than in a clinic. He already knew what an IV could do long before this company existed.
Then in 2022 it stopped being professional knowledge and became personal.

How It Started
Wes and his wife Amanda went through a miscarriage. Afterward, Amanda was diagnosed with a common condition that affects how the body processes certain vitamins, especially the B vitamins. It is more common than most people realize, and a lot of people never find out they have it.
With his medical background, Wes began supporting her at home with weekly IV infusions alongside her oral supplements. He was not building a company. He was taking care of his wife.
Not long after, they welcomed their son Ryker.
That experience is the whole reason this company exists. It is also why we talk about IV therapy the way we do. We are not going to tell you a bag of fluids fixes your life. We will tell you that when Wes needed it for his own family, it helped, and that is a good enough reason to bring it to yours.
What We Actually Do
We bring IV therapy to you. Homes, apartments, hotel rooms, offices, job sites, event venues, and rental houses across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
There is no Rapid Relief clinic to drive to, and that is on purpose. When you feel bad enough to want an IV, you usually do not feel well enough to drive across the metroplex and sit in a lobby with strangers. A licensed registered nurse comes to you instead, sets up in about five minutes, runs the drip, and takes the whole setup with her when she leaves.
Most visits run 30 to 45 minutes. We are open 7 AM to 7 PM, seven days a week, and same day windows are often available.
A Father And Son Business
Wes started Rapid Relief Mobile IV with his dad, John. That is not a line we added for warmth. It is how the company actually runs.
John is a co-founder and he is involved day to day. If you read through our reviews you will see both of their names, usually together, usually from somebody who called late in the day and did not expect anyone to answer.
Being family owned changes a few practical things. There is no franchise handbook telling us what we can and cannot do for a client. When somebody calls at 6:45 PM with a sick kid, that decision gets made by the people whose name is on the company. And when we get something wrong, there is nobody to hand it off to.

Who Comes To Your Door
Every drip is placed by a licensed registered nurse. Not a technician and not an assistant.
Our nurses come out of ICU, emergency, oncology, cardiac, surgical, hospice, and home infusion settings. Several have well over a decade of hands-on IV experience, and many still work shifts in hospitals, fire stations, and clinics between mobile visits. That background is why difficult veins are routine here instead of a problem.
We use first names only when we introduce our nurses publicly. They go into private homes for a living, and their privacy matters the same way yours does.

How We Talk About IV Therapy
There is a lot of overselling in this industry. Miracle claims, disease claims, and promises that would not survive five minutes of scrutiny. We do not do that, and it costs us business sometimes.
Here is the honest version. IV therapy puts fluids, electrolytes, and vitamins straight into your bloodstream, which means your stomach does not have to break anything down first. For a lot of people that means feeling better sooner, especially when dehydration is part of the problem. It may help. It is not a treatment for any disease, it is not a substitute for your doctor, and it is not a replacement for emergency care.
If you are having a medical emergency, call 911. We will tell you that on the phone too.
The other side of that is what happens before your visit. A provider reviews your health history and confirms the drip you chose makes sense for you. If it does not, we say so before anyone gets in a car. We would rather talk you into a $125 bag that fits than a $399 one that does not.
Where We Go
We cover the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and the North Texas counties around it. Our area runs west past Weatherford, north up the 287 and 81 corridors, east past Rockwall, and south along 287 toward Waxahachie.
That includes Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Irving, Garland, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Denton, Grapevine, North Richland Hills, Rockwall, Weatherford, Bonham, Paradise, Grand Prairie, Mesquite, Richardson, Allen, Lewisville, Flower Mound, Southlake, Mansfield, Cedar Hill, and Carrollton, along with the communities in between.
If you are not sure whether your address is inside our area, text it to us. We will tell you before you book rather than after, and we will tell you honestly if a travel fee applies.
Who We Take Care Of
A real share of our visits are not what people expect. Yes, we get the morning-after calls and the wedding weekends. But most of our work looks like this:
A parent who has been up all night with a sick kid and is now sick themselves
Somebody who cannot keep water down and is trying to avoid a hospital visit
A first responder or a nurse coming off a brutal stretch of shifts
A business traveler with three days of meetings and no time to be run down
An athlete closing out a heavy training block
Someone who just spent nine hours outside in a Texas August
Military and first responders get 10 percent off any visit, any day. Given where this company came from, that one is not a promotion.

Why We Are Mobile Instead Of A Clinic
People ask this a lot, usually phrased as whether we plan to open a location. The answer is that the mobile model is not a stepping stone for us. It is the product.
A clinic solves the company’s problem, not yours. It concentrates the nurses in one building so they can see more people per hour. That works fine when the client feels well enough to drive. It works badly when the client is the one who has been throwing up since 4 AM, or the parent who cannot leave a sick kid, or the traveler with ninety minutes between meetings.
Those are the people we built this for. So the nurse drives, not you. It costs us efficiency and we are fine with that.
It also changes the visit itself. In a clinic you are on the clock in a shared room. At home you are on a couch, and your nurse is with you and only you for the whole drip. She has time to actually talk to you about what is going on, which is usually where the useful part of the visit happens.
What You Can Expect From Us
- Five things, every time.A licensed registered nurse, never a technician or an assistant
- A real health review before your visit, not a form you sign at the door
- Full pricing published up front, fees included, so the invoice matches what you expected
- An honest arrival window instead of a best case time we cannot hit
- A straight answer about whether a drip will actually help you today
If we ever miss on one of those, tell us directly. Wes and John read the messages.
What Comes Next
We are still growing. More nurses are joining the team, our service area keeps stretching outward, and we are adding to what we offer as we go.
What is not changing is the part that matters. Registered nurses only. Prices published up front, fees included. A real health review before every visit. And somebody who will tell you the truth about whether a drip is going to help you today.
Questions People Ask Before Their First Visit
Is this a real medical service or a wellness thing?
Both, honestly. The nurses are licensed and the supplies are hospital-grade, so the clinical side is real. But the service itself is wellness, not medicine. We are not diagnosing anything, treating any disease, or managing a condition for you. If that is what you need, you need your doctor.
How do I know if I actually need an IV?
If you are dehydrated and cannot fix it by drinking, that is the clearest case. Beyond that it is a judgment call, and we are happy to talk it through before you spend anything. Text us what is going on.
Do you accept insurance?
We do not bill insurance. We do accept FSA and HSA, which covers a lot of people, along with card, Zelle, Cash App, and Venmo.
Is there a membership?
No. No membership, no monthly plan, no signup fee. You pay for the visit you book and nothing else.
How long has Rapid Relief been around?
The company grew out of Wes caring for his own family in 2022 and has been serving DFW households ever since, with a team that has kept growing along with the service area.
