Myers Cocktail IV Therapy in Dallas-Fort Worth

The Myers Cocktail is the most booked drip on our menu, and it has been the standard vitamin IV for decades. We call ours Relief Support and it runs $195. A licensed registered nurse brings it to your home, hotel room, or office anywhere across Dallas-Fort Worth. Most visits run 30 to 45 minutes. If you are not sure what to book, this is the one people start with.

What A Myers Cocktail Is

The Myers Cocktail is a specific blend of vitamins and minerals that was developed by a physician in Baltimore in the mid-twentieth century and has been used in one form or another ever since. It is not a proprietary formula and it is not something we invented. Nearly every IV therapy provider offers a version of it.

What makes it the default choice is coverage. Rather than aiming at one symptom, it delivers vitamin C, the B vitamins, and magnesium together in a saline base. That combination supports energy production, immune function, and normal muscle and nerve function all at once.

It is the drip to pick when you feel run down across the board rather than when one specific thing is wrong.

What Is In It

Ingredient What it supports
Normal saline Hydration and fluid volume
Vitamin C Immune function and tissue repair
B-Complex Energy production from food
Vitamin B12 Energy and normal nerve function
Magnesium Energy and normal nerve function
Tri-Immune Boost Immune support

All ingredients are hospital-grade and prepared for single use. If you want the fuller version, Relief Works at $295 is the same blend with glutathione added. We call it our Ultimate Myers. If you find yourself adding glutathione to Relief Support every time, it is worth comparing the two.

Who Books It

People who feel run down and cannot point at one cause

This is the most common reason. Poor sleep, a heavy stretch at work, too many weeks of not quite taking care of yourself. The Myers Cocktail covers a lot of ground at once, which is exactly what you want when nothing specific is wrong.

Anyone getting over something

Once the worst of an illness has passed and you are left tired and behind on fluids, this is the standard follow-up drip.

People with demanding schedules

Nurses, first responders, teachers, business travelers, and parents of small children. A lot of our repeat Myers bookings come from people who cannot afford to be out of commission.

Anyone trying IV therapy for the first time

It is the safest place to start because it is not aimed at anything narrow. Book it, see how you respond, and adjust from there.

Regular wellness routines

Plenty of people book one every few weeks as part of an ongoing routine rather than in response to a problem.

Add-Ons Worth Considering

Glutathione at $25 is the most common addition, and it is the difference between Relief Support and Relief Works.

Zinc at $25 is a frequent winter pairing with the vitamin C already in the bag.

Extra magnesium at $25 if muscle tension or sleep is the piece you care about most.

You do not have to decide when you book. Your nurse can talk it through once they have arrived and seen how you are doing.

Myers Cocktail Versus The Rest Of Our Menu

Relief Essentials at $125 is plain saline. If dehydration is genuinely the only problem, that is the right pick and the Myers adds cost without adding what you need. Relief Works at $295 is this exact blend with glutathione added. If you are already planning to add glutathione at $25, compare the two rather than assuming the add-on route is cheaper. The difference is dose, and your nurse can tell you which fits. Rapid Relieve Platinum at $399 contains everything in the Myers plus glutathione and four kinds of symptom support. That is the right call when you have specific symptoms to address, not when you simply feel run down. The targeted drips, Migraine, Respiratory Relief, and Tummy Bug Essentials, all contain most of the Myers blend already. If one specific symptom is driving your day, book the targeted one instead. You are not missing out on the Myers by doing that.

The Myers Cocktail In Dallas-Fort Worth

This is the drip we place most across the metroplex, and the reasons shift with the season.

In summer it competes with plain hydration, because a lot of what people are calling fatigue in a Texas August is straightforward dehydration. From November through February it becomes the immune support pick, especially for teachers, healthcare workers, and parents whose households are passing things around.

The other steady stream is business travel. Between DFW International and Love Field, we run a lot of Myers drips in hotel rooms in Irving and Las Colinas for people on day three of a trip who have not slept properly since they landed.

What To Expect

Your nurse texts when they are close, then checks your vitals, confirm the drip, and ask how you are feeling that day. They place the line and start the bag. Setup is about five minutes.

The drip itself runs 30 to 45 minutes. Most people sit on a couch and work, scroll, or sleep. They stay the whole time and checks the line as it runs.

When it is finished they pull the line, bandage the site, and pack the entire setup out with them.

Honest Expectations

The hydration part you may feel within the visit. That is fluids doing what fluids do.

The vitamin part is less dramatic and less immediate. Several of the ingredients are water soluble, which means your body uses what it needs and clears the rest. If you are genuinely short on something, this may make a real difference over the following days. If you are not, it will not create energy out of nothing.

It does not treat any disease, it is not a substitute for your doctor, and it will not replace sleeping and eating properly. Anyone telling you otherwise is selling.

How Often People Book It

Roughly half our Myers bookings are one-offs, someone who feels run down and wants to get ahead of it. The other half are on a rhythm, usually every two to four weeks.

If you are booking on a rhythm, tell your nurse. They can tell you whether the interval makes sense based on how you respond, and they may suggest a lighter drip on the in-between visits. Several of the ingredients are water soluble, so more frequent is not automatically better.

There is no membership and no package to buy, so booking regularly costs the same each time. Nobody here is trying to lock you into a schedule.

Who Places It

A licensed registered nurse, every time. Our nurses come out of ICU, emergency, oncology, cardiac, surgical, hospice, and home infusion settings, and several have well over a decade of hands-on IV experience. She places the line, stays for the whole drip, and packs everything out when she leaves.

Before your visit, a provider reviews your health history and confirms this drip is appropriate for you. If it is not, we say so before anyone gets in a car.

Mobile IV therapy is a wellness service and is not a substitute for emergency medical care. If you are having a medical emergency, call 911.

Where We Come

Homes, apartments, hotel rooms, offices, job sites, event venues, and rental houses anywhere across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and the North Texas counties around it. Inside our service area there is no travel fee. Outside the service limit there is a $100 out of area fee, quoted before you book.

Three Things People Get Wrong About It

It is not a cure-all

The Myers Cocktail is a broad vitamin and mineral blend, which is genuinely useful and also the reason it gets oversold. It covers a lot of ground shallowly rather than fixing anything deeply. If you have a specific problem, book the specific drip.

More frequent is not automatically better

Vitamin C and the B vitamins are water soluble. Your body takes what it needs and clears the rest. Booking weekly when every other week would do is money spent on something your kidneys are going to filter out.

The saline is doing more than people credit

A meaningful share of how good people feel after a Myers is straightforward rehydration. That is not a criticism of the drip, it is a reason to consider Relief Essentials at $125 when fluids are all you actually need.

Myers Cocktail IV Therapy Questions

  • Can I get one at the office?

Yes, and this is common. A conference room with a door works well, and the drip is quiet enough that most people keep working or sit in meetings through it.

  • Does it help with a hangover?

It can, though Relief Essentials at $125 is usually the more sensible pick for that specifically. The fluids do most of the work and the vitamins are less relevant to a hangover than people assume.

  • What if I do not feel anything?

That happens, and it usually means you were not particularly short on what was in the bag. Tell your nurse next time and she may suggest a different drip or a longer gap between visits.

  • Why is it called a Myers Cocktail?

It is named after the physician who developed the original formula. The name has been in general use for decades and is not specific to us.

  • Why no apostrophe?

That is the standard spelling of the term and it is how we write it across the site.

  • How is this different from Relief Works?

Relief Works at $295 is the same blend plus glutathione. Everything else is identical.

  • How often should I get one?

Depends on why you are booking. Some people go every few weeks as a routine, most book when they feel run down. Ask your nurse what makes sense for you.

  • Is $195 the full price?

Yes, inside our service area. No membership, no signup fee, no travel charge. Add-ons and the fees listed on our pricing page are the only things that would change it.

  • Can I get this at 7 AM before work?

Yes. Early morning is one of the easiest windows for us to hit exactly.
