Meet the Team Behind Rapid Relief Mobile IV

When someone knocks on your door with an IV bag, you should know who they are. Every drip we place is done by a licensed registered nurse. Not a technician, not an assistant. Our nurses come from ICU, emergency, oncology, cardiac, surgical, hospice, and home infusion backgrounds. Several have well over a decade of hands-on IV experience, and many still work shifts in hospitals, fire stations, and clinics between mobile visits. We use first names only on this page. Our nurses go into private homes for a living, and we protect their privacy the same way we protect yours.

Leadership

Wes, Owner and Founder

Wes spent nearly ten years as a firefighter and paramedic before Rapid Relief Mobile IV existed. He had already seen what IV therapy could do in the field, in living rooms and on roadsides rather than in a clinic. Then in 2022 it became personal. After his wife Amanda went through a miscarriage, she was diagnosed with a common condition that affects how the body processes certain vitamins. Wes began supporting her at home with weekly infusions alongside her supplements. What started as care for his own family became this company. Not long after, they welcomed their son Ryker.

John, Co-Founder

John is Wes’s father and started the company alongside him. This is a father and son business, and that is not a marketing line. It is the reason Rapid Relief runs the way it does, one household at a time, with the kind of care you would want for your own family.

Our Registered Nurses

Ruby, BSN, RN

Ruby is a retired U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander and a nurse educator. Across her Navy Nurse Corps career she served in women’s services, emergency care, medical-surgical, intensive care, and post-anesthesia care. She is also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a co-author of a nursing text on IV hydration and vitamin therapy.

Ruby is a mother, a grandmother, and a full-time doctoral student. She is passionate about helping people reach their health goals through faith, fitness, education, and mentorship. She covers the southern side of our service area.

Christine, BSMT, BSN, RN

Christine brings nearly 20 years of clinical experience, with a strong foundation in oncology, critical care, and cardiac nursing. She spent 12 years managing an oncology laboratory before becoming a registered nurse, then built her career in the ICU, the cardiac cath lab, and the PACU. In 2024 she moved into concierge home infusion nursing.

She likes bringing IV therapy directly to people in their own homes and saving them the time and cost of a clinic visit. Outside of nursing she is a homeschooling baseball mom who quilts and embroiders.

Jackie, BSN, RN

Jackie has 14 years of nursing experience across cardio-thoracic surgery, surgical and women’s services, and hospice care, plus IV therapy. That range matters more than it sounds like it should. A nurse who has worked both open heart surgery and hospice knows how to keep a room calm.

Clients regularly ask for her by name.

April, RN

April is a registered nurse and a mother of three girls, with experience across a range of healthcare settings. Over her career she has built a real interest in IV therapy and aesthetic nursing, pairing clinical skill with helping people feel confident and cared for.

Advocating for her patients has always come first, along with safe, compassionate, individualized care. Outside of work she is with her family, traveling, or out by the river or the lake. April covers the western edge of our service area.

Ryan, RN

Ryan is a licensed registered nurse on our mobile team and handles visits across the Fort Worth side of the metroplex. Like every nurse here, he places the line himself and stays with you for the full drip.

Christyl, RN

Christyl is a licensed registered nurse serving families across the northern part of our coverage area. She is a steady, easy presence in a room, which is exactly what you want when you are not feeling well.

Stefanie, RN

Stefanie is a licensed registered nurse covering the northwest side of the metroplex. She handles home, office, and hotel visits, and she is well practiced at making a living room feel like the right place for an IV.

Kate, RN

Kate is a licensed registered nurse serving the north metro. She is often the one families call back for repeat visits, which tells you most of what you need to know.

A Growing Team

We are adding nurses as we grow, and more bios are on the way. Every person who joins is a licensed registered nurse with real clinical experience behind them. That standard does not move, and it is the one thing we will not flex on to fill a schedule.

Our Hiring Standard

Every nurse on this team is a licensed registered nurse in the state of Texas with real clinical experience behind them. That is the floor, not the ceiling.

What we look for beyond the license is time spent doing IV access on people who were genuinely unwell. ICU, emergency, oncology, surgical, and hospice backgrounds all produce nurses who can find a vein on somebody dehydrated, stay calm when a client is anxious, and recognize when something is not right. That last one is the whole reason we do not use technicians.

We also look for the part that does not show up on a resume. Our nurses walk into people’s homes, often when those people are at their worst, sometimes with kids and pets running around. Being clinically excellent and being easy to have in your living room are two different skills, and we need both.

What Your Nurse Brings

Everything. You do not need to buy or prepare anything.

  • The IV pole, tubing, catheters, and all supplies, individually packaged and single use
  • Hospital-grade fluids, vitamins, and any add-ons you booked
  • Equipment to check your vitals before the drip starts
  • A sharps container and everything needed to pack the entire setup out when she leaves

Nothing gets left in your trash and nothing gets reused. Your nurse carries all of it back out with her.

Questions About Our Team

  • Will the same nurse come every time?

Not always, but you can ask. If you have someone you like working with, tell us when you book and we will do our best to route it to her. Availability comes first, so we cannot commit to it every time.

  • Why do you only use first names?

Our nurses go into private homes for a living. Publishing full names next to a photo and a service area makes them findable in a way that no other nursing job would ask of them. Credentials tell you what you actually need to know about who is coming.

  • Are your nurses employees or contractors?

Every nurse who comes to your door is part of this team and works under our standards, our health review process, and our supplies. They are not a marketplace of strangers we route jobs to.

  • What if I am nervous about needles?

Say so as soon as she arrives. This comes up constantly and our nurses handle it well. They will talk you through it, take their time, and let you look away. Nobody here is going to rush you.

  • Can a man be my nurse, or a woman specifically?

You can request either when you book. We will accommodate it when scheduling allows, and if it is a firm requirement for you, tell us and we will work around it.

  • Does a doctor look at my case?

A provider reviews your health history before your visit and confirms the drip you chose is appropriate for you. If something in your history raises a question, you will hear from us before anyone is on the way.

Why The Nurse Matters More Than the Bag

Mobile IV therapy is only as good as the person placing the line. Two companies can offer the same Myers Cocktail at the same price and deliver completely different visits.

A nurse with ICU or emergency experience finds a vein faster, especially on somebody who is already dehydrated and whose veins have flattened out. She watches how you respond as the bag runs instead of just watching the clock. And she can tell you honestly when a drip is not the right call that day, which is a judgment call that only comes from having seen a lot of patients.

If your veins are difficult, say so when your nurse arrives. It is genuinely not a problem. Most of our team spent years doing IV access on people in far worse shape than you are in.

The Health Review Happens Before Anyone Drives

This is the step most people do not think about, and it is the one that separates a real service from a delivery driver with a bag.

After you book, a provider looks at your health history and confirms the drip you chose is appropriate for you. Not a checkbox and not a waiver. If something in your history raises a question, whether that is a kidney or heart condition, a medication interaction, a pregnancy, or a previous reaction to an IV, you hear from us before a nurse is on the way.

Then your nurse reviews it again in person. She is looking at you, not just your paperwork, and she has the authority to change the plan or stop the visit. Nurses who came out of ICU and emergency settings are used to making that call, and none of them will run a bag they do not think should be run.

That is the part of the visit you are actually paying for.

What A Visit Looks Like

Your nurse texts when she is on the way. When she arrives she checks your vitals, confirms what you booked, and asks how you are actually feeling that day, which sometimes changes the recommendation.

Then she places the line and starts the bag. Setup takes about five minutes. Most drips run 30 to 45 minutes and she stays with you the whole time, checking the line as it runs. You do not have to entertain her or stay upright. Most people sit on a couch and work, scroll, or sleep.

When the bag is done she pulls the line, bandages the site, and packs every bit of the setup out with her. Nothing goes in your trash.
