Amino Blend IV Add-On

Amino Blend is $25 added to any drip. It is our most requested addition on the recovery side of the menu. It goes into the same bag as whatever you booked and adds no time to the visit. A licensed registered nurse handles it, anywhere across Dallas-Fort Worth, seven days a week.

What Amino Blend Does

Amino acids are the building blocks your body uses to make protein. Protein is what your muscles are made of and what your body uses to repair them after you have broken them down through training.

Some amino acids your body can make on its own. Others, the essential ones, have to come from what you eat. A blend delivers a range of them together rather than one in isolation.

The reason they show up in IV therapy is recovery. When you train hard, your body needs raw material to rebuild, and delivering amino acids intravenously puts them straight into circulation without your digestive system having to break down a protein source first.

Already In These Drips

Amino Blend is not included in any of our drips as standard, which makes it a genuine addition rather than a duplicate.

Drip Contains Amino Blend
Athletic Recovery, $325 No, add for $25
Relief Essentials, $125 No, add for $25
Relief Support, our Myers Cocktail, $195 No, add for $25
Relief Works, $295 No, add for $25
Rapid Relieve Platinum, $399 No, add for $25

Who Adds It

Athletes in a training block. This is by far the most common reason and the pairing with Athletic Recovery at $325 is the one we place most. People coming off a race, a fight camp, a tournament weekend, or any stretch where sessions stacked faster than recovery did. Lifters in a hard block, where muscle repair is the whole point of what happens between sessions. People on restricted diets who are not consistently hitting their protein intake, though food is a better answer to that than a drip. Anyone booking Relief Essentials at $125 after training who wants more than fluids without paying for a full vitamin bag.

Pairs Well With

Athletic Recovery at $325. The natural pairing, and the one nearly every Amino Blend add-on goes onto.

Taurine, which is itself an amino acid and sits alongside this for the same recovery goal.

Magnesium at $25, since muscle function and sweat loss are both in play after hard training.

Relief Essentials at $125 if you want fluids plus recovery support and nothing else.

Honest Expectations

Amino acids support muscle repair. They do not build muscle on their own and they are not a substitute for training, protein, or sleep. The research on intravenous amino acids in healthy, well fed athletes is thinner than the marketing suggests. What is well established is that your body needs amino acids to repair tissue. What is less clear is whether delivering them by IV outperforms eating properly for someone who is already eating properly.

It is not a performance enhancer and we do not market it as one. If you compete under an anti-doping code, verify your own compliance obligations before booking anything. It does not treat any condition.

How It Is Given

Amino Blend goes into the same IV bag as the drip you booked. No separate stick and no extra time.

A licensed registered nurse places and monitors every drip. Before your visit, a provider reviews your health history and confirms what you booked is appropriate for you. Tell us about any medication you take, any condition you manage, and any prior reaction to an IV.

Mobile IV therapy is a wellness service and is not a substitute for emergency medical care. If you are having a medical emergency, call 911.

Amino Blend Versus Just Eating Protein

Worth addressing directly, because it is the obvious question and most places selling this will not raise it.

For most people most of the time, food is the better answer. A protein source after training gives you amino acids, plus calories, plus everything else that comes with real food, and it costs a fraction of $25.

Where an IV makes a case for itself is speed and circumstance. Immediately after a hard effort, when your appetite is gone, when you are nauseated, or when you are travelling and eating badly, getting amino acids in without asking your digestive system to work is a genuine convenience.

It is a supporting player in recovery, not the main one. If your protein intake across the week is poor, a drip on Sunday does not fix that, and your nurse will tell you the same thing.

Amino Blend Questions

  • How much is it?

    $25 added to any drip.

  • Is it in Athletic Recovery already?

No. Athletic Recovery at $325 contains B-Complex, B12, taurine, and NAD+. Amino Blend is a genuine addition to it.

  • Should I get this or eat protein?

For most people, eat protein. This makes sense when appetite is gone, when you are nauseated, or immediately after a hard effort.

  • Will it help with muscle soreness?

It supports the repair process. It is not a pain treatment and we would not sell it as one.

  • Does it add time to my visit?

    No.

  • Can our team book together?

Yes. Three or more people at one address gets 10 percent off, and we do race weekend and team bookings regularly.

  • Is it allowed in competition?

Check your own governing body. We do not market this as performance enhancement, and compliance is your responsibility to verify.
