What To Expect

She checks your vitals when she arrives, which matters more here than with most drips, since it tells her how dehydrated you actually are. She places the line and starts the bag. Setup takes about five minutes and the drip runs 30 to 45 minutes.
You can lie down the entire time. Bathroom trips mid-drip are normal and she will manage the line so it is not a problem.
